CGC is excited to announce the enormously influential comic book writer Marv Wolfman will be joining us for another exclusive In-House Private Signing. Wolfman is best known for his work for DC and Marvel Comics. During his distinguished career he has been the recipient of many of the industries biggest awards including the Inkpot, Eagle, Shazam and Kirby Award. In 2011, Wolfman was inducted into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame.
Wolfman is the co-creator of many famous, stand out characters including Blade, Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, Deathstroke, Tim Drake, Nova, Black Cat and Bullseye. His career began at DC where he worked on series like Stories of Suspense, Showcase, Weird Mystery Tales and Teen Titans. He then jumped over to Marvel and was instrumental in the success of series such as The Tomb of Dracula, Werewolf by Night, Daredevil, The Amazing Spider-Man and Fantastic Four. After his time at Marvel, Wolfman returned to DC and helped launch The New Teen Titans and wrote series like Action Comics, Green Lantern and Batman. During this time with DC, he launched the groundbreaking series Crisis on Infinite Earths, which became one of the most influential series of all time. Wolfman then went on to work as a screenwriter while continuing to work in the comic industry.
